History and Contributions of the Jameya

The Madrasa has walked on a long way with a lot of contributions to Islam for more than a century after its establishment in 1901 A.D. It is one of the largest and ancient Islamic educational institutions and well-established in its own particular rules and regulations in this sub-continent. Its contribution to the caretaking of ‘iman’ (religious beliefs) and ‘amal’ (religious formal activities) of the people especially for the Muslims beggar description. There is a deep relationship among the lot of ‘maktabs’ (pre-primary religious educational institutions) and madrasas in this territory. This relationship can be compared to the relationship between a river and a sea. So, it is called the ‘Ummul Madaris’ (mother of all madrasas).

More than 40,000  ‘Alim’ (Islamic Scholars), teachers, writers, religious preachers, Islamic lawyers and speakers, debaters, are the greatest contributions of ‘Jameya’ to the nation. After finishing studies, a number of learners of the ‘Jameya’ leave for rectifying the ignorant in the remote areas in home and abroad and establish a lot of ‘maktabs’, madrasas and centers of Islam. They are wandering throughout the world for preaching ‘Dawat’ of Islam to every person. The contribution of the ‘Jameya’ is mostly noticeable after the contribution of the Darul Uloom Deoband, India in this sub-continent. This is possible only the Kindness of Allah for the greatest sacrifice of the founders and the patronisers of the ‘Jameya’. This is also possible for their sacrificing worldly happiness, wealth, power, name and fame etc. for the establishment of the ‘Jameya’.
